Student Ministries is the youth ministry at South Hill Calvary Chapel.  Our desire and passion is to see teenagers fall in love with Jesus Christ and grow in a deep and intimate relationship with Him.  We believe the MOST EFFECTIVE way to see this accomplished is following the model set for us in Acts 2:42...the word, fellowship, food and prayer.

On Wednesday nights, the Jr. High (Abide) group gathers for worship, announcements and prayer downstairs at SHCC.  Of course we throw in some randomness such as philosophizing, finger rockets and strange games.  Then the Jr. High students have a sweet time of studying God’s Word.  Jason Murdock teaches the Abide students.

On Sunday mornings, Abide meets 2nd service in the Jr. High room for worship and Bible study.

Throughout the year, we have retreats, camping trips, missions trips, monthly events, a purity conference, worship nights, lots of hang time, and more.
